Newport Beach

Newport Beach is nestled between Los Angeles and San Diego.  We have been to both LA and SD several times but usually drive right through Newport.  Our trip purpose was to check out the Marriott Newport Beach Villas and we are so glad that we did!  Newport is a great city to visit.  The coastal views, nearby beaches, challenging golf courses, great restaurants and amazing shoppingprovides a great destination for individuals, families and friends.  The Marriott Resort was beautiful.  Each Villa has a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom set up with a nice sized livingroom and a full kitchen.  There were several outdoor BBQ areas and activities for all ages; including, workout rooms, children center, movie theater, firepits, pools, spas, basketball, tennis and pickleball courts, ping-pong, shuffleboard, a playground area, bocci ball, and a putting greeen area.  Guests can choose to cook up their own meals or head downtown to take part in local cuisine. 

We ventured out to Fly-N-Fish (on the Newport Pier), 5 Crowns Pub and Billy's at the Beach.  Each one provided great food and a unique experience.  I highly recommend going in the Spring as the Flower Fields in Carlsbad are in full bloom and absolutely stunning!
